14th Annual Santa Cruz Harp Festival

Community Music School and the Museum of Art and History present the Santa Cruz Harp Festival in its 14th concert event, exploring modern and historic music from all over the world on harps of all kinds. Soloists include:

  • Jesse Autumn, Harp Festival director, returning from New Orleans: vocals, pedal harp and Double harp

  • Shelley Phillips, Santa Cruz County's 2017 Artist of the Year: live looping Celtic harp and woodwinds

  • Brendan Swift, protege of the late, great Chris Caswell: wire-strung harp

  • Jennifer Cass, premier classical harpist of Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay: classical harp

Also performing:  the all-ages Community Music School Harp Orchestra (performing traditional and new music from England, Ireland, and Japan), and other special guests. A harp "petting zoo" will be available before the concert for curious concert-goers.
