Learn and perform the folk music of Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, and more. Students practice and perform in instrument-specific groups, in small bands, and with the entire ensemble. For players of fiddle, flute, pennywhistle, recorder, oboe, harp, guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, accordion, keyboards, percussion, Irish tenor banjo, and cello. Other activities include dancing, singing, crafts, and bamboo flute making.  

Participants must be proficient on one of the above instruments and have played for at least two years. For more information on the camps and playing ability requirements, please email Shelley.

Overnight Program

Ages 12-18
Spend all day playing music in the redwoods, and have a great time playing your instrument, singing, dancing, sessioning and improv-ing every night! Program includes all meals and boarding. Bring bedding, clothes (including a jacket), towel, toiletries, bug repellant, sunscreen, your instrument, and music stand. Costumes may be useful, as well as other fun things for the ceilidh/talent show.  


Enrollment must be received by June 7th.
